Existing X440 campaign imagery placed the motorcycle in predefined settings, leaving little room for personal expression. The opportunity was to turn post-purchase anticipation into participation, allowing owners to connect the product with their travel aspirations and contribute to a shared rider gallery.

The experience centred on one meaningful choice: the destination. The system handled composition and motorcycle details, while contextual validation guided customers through broad, misspelled or unrecognised locations. This made creation accessible without requiring knowledge of AI prompting.

Generation time and output quality could vary. Results appeared progressively, with distinct indicators for available and pending images, while the gallery remained accessible during processing. Four alternatives gave customers a basis for comparison, and motion made processing and action feedback visible without implying a precise completion time.

The gallery connected discovery with contribution: existing creations offered inspiration, and customers could download, share or publish their selected result. The case study reports 2,000+ visualisations generated in the first three months and 4,000+ monthly user interactions, providing early evidence of participation in the experience.
